Lunch special was VERY good.  $3.50 is on the high side for almuerzo in Ecuador, but this was worth the extra $0.50 to $1.00.  Well presented, and you don't see that often.  Patio on the ocean.  Good quantities. Very tasty.

The freshest fish, reasonable prices. The restaurant is located on a wide verandah directly facing the Pacific. We were there last week with a large family group watching the sun set over dinner and drinks. There are hammocks for the kids and adults, lots of space to run around. As the tide came in the waves crashed against the rocks and came up across the verandah.

The restaurant is wonderful

Great Almuerzo

Decor is old and place is falling apart. That being said, it's a good value for budgeted travelers. Food in site, next to ocean. Beach available at low tide. Neighborhood is sketchy but has gated parking. Food is very good. Lounge is in middle of restaurant. Toilets need care in flushing. Wifi is provided. Gym is available. Pool is green and not treated. Staff is very helpful, patient and kind, especially if Spanish is not your first language. No A/C But fans and ocean breeze help. 

Great value but run down

This place looked liked it would rather not have anyone there during the week.  There is no restaurant as per advertising.  We did get breakfast included though.  The pool was a little grungy, the jets only worked when they had a group there the first day.  Hard to find anyone around.  We would not stay here again and would probably skip San Jacinto all together as it is quite a dead town.
