I am here in Guayaquil for my semester abroad and since I have already heard from the students who stayed in the Monkey House the last years, that its a great place to stay, me and my friend decided to live there for the first month to get started in the city. It was the best idea. Not only are the rooms really cosy and the whole house very clean and tidy, the family and the boss of the hostal are also really helpful and nice. The boss was even showing us around in the city and helping as ALOT to get started in the city-which is of course very different to a city in Germany. On top of that, you get an awesome breakfast every day which is made by the boss or the mother. We literally got a different breakfast every day, which is also great to get to know some of the local recipies.
