Majestic Elegance Punta Cana - All Inclusive

After a careful review of the resort, I decided to book a 5 day trip. THE PROS😊😊: Upon arriving at the resort, we were greeted with cool towels and a drink to refresh us and escorted to the VIP lounge. I enjoyed everything about this resort. Nighty shows were pretty Good typically from 9-10 pm and they'll have a dance party from 10-11. We booked VIP, which gave us a Butler to assist us for certain accommodation, etc. My butler Olbus, was outstanding. Everything we needed he was able to make happen for us. The highlight for us, was meeting a young man(staff) named GiGi.. He was the life of the party. He put a smile on everybody's faces and keep the party going. Truthfully, It wouldn't be the same without GiGi.. Staff was absolutely amazing everywhere. Clean, air-conditioned room. THE CONS😒: I felt that after 11pm, there typically wasn't anything else to do. The disco/club - casino would be open, but for a mature adult, that was more the younger crowd scene. We had no choice but go to our room😒. So if your not into the club/disco scene and just want something to do after 11pm, there's nothing. Oh yeah, this is my perspective, the DJ does not know how to Dj.. He killed the vibe every time.. We booked Vip, which put us quite a distance from the front, so if you don't like walking or have difficulty walking, please consider location of your room. Call ahead of booking. Excursions: we took the horseback riding and that was pretty good (my butt hurt afterwards) but it was an experience. We also took the Santo Domingo trip ( all day), which was more about culture/history. It was okay, but kind of boring. Tour Guide was phenomenal. Overall, I would definitely go back, because of the reception, great staff, good food and a beautiful layout of the resort and of course GiGi, made it wonderful package. We were treated like VIP...Beach was okay too.
