Sanctuary Cap Cana, a Luxury Collection Resort, Dominican Republic, Adult All-Inclusive

My wife and I just came back from a 5 night stay from July 18 to the 23rd at Sanctuary Cap in Punta Cana to celebrate our 23rd wedding anniversary. It was part of the Marriot Bonvoy properties so we decided to book the reservation and we are glad that it was one of our very best experiences we have had in a long time together. We booked the Castle Junior Ocean Suite. As a Marriott Bonvoy Platinum Elite member, they offered me an upgrade to the ocean suite. I was tremendously touched buy it but my wife and I stayed with our original room since it had a more square footage and a bigger living room and more of an intimate feel of being at home. The trip was over the top due to the effort made by our assigned butler, Eric. From the moment we arrived, Eric went above and beyond to make sure we were take care of and made us feel welcome and stress free. He treated us with warmth and kindness. He gave us a tour of the entire property via a golf cart, he then programmed his number into our phones, and told us, "You are on vacation and celebrating your anniversary, ....my job is to make sure that you relax and enjoy your vacation." His actions spoke louder than words. He handled our breakfast orders, afternoon snacks, dinner reservations, or even asking if we wanted coffee or just anything during the day. He checked in on us at least 3 times during the day. Eric sincerely cared about us and was always in happy mood. He made our stay an absolute success and he will never forget him. We have stayed at many Marriott Bonvoy properties around the world on vacation including the Ritz Carlton. The Sanctuary Cap Cana service we received set a whole new standard for us. Besides that, the rooms were clean, the hospitality from everyone was so kind, the food was prepared well and overall feel from folks to make us relax was outstanding. My wife and I will definitely come back and hopefully we get to see Eric again! Mr. & Mrs. Oommen
