Now Garden Punta Cana All Inclusive

We got a deal we couldn't refuse from CLT to Punta Cana through vacation express. After researching the hotels available we settled on Now Garden and we are so glad we did. From check in to check out, we had a great time. The staff was friendly and helpful and we would return. Luckily we didn't go with the cheapest hotel where visitors are still writing about having no AC. Some research and an extra $50, was totally worth it. A few points: *The hotel is not on the beach, NOW Larimar is about a 5 minute brisk walk and it is on the beach. There is a shuttle but we never took it. It wasn't that far and we needed the extra steps after eating and drinking all day. *We thought the food was good with the exception of the pizza at the Italian restaurant and lunch at NOW Larimar. We were prepared to eat hamburgers and chicken all day if we had to but we liked most of the meals. *If you are a wine drinker, pack your wine. We could deal with the house wine after we had a few glasses of what we brought but it was a little rough. *When you first arrive they do ask you about the $200 in coupons as a way to get you to hear a pitch. It happened one time, we said no thank you and never had an issue again. *The vendors on the beach did come up to you but I it wasn't too bad and we've been places that were far worse. It didn't affect our beach day. *NOW Garden is a quieter place to stay which we appreciated and NOW Larimar seemed like a louder party atmosphere. It was great having those amenities down the road and we liked coming "home" and enjoying time outside. *This place is clean, clean, clean. *We've never slept so good on vacation. The room is freezing and the blackout shades make it feel like you are in a cave. It was great. *I agree with other reviewers, the beds could be more comfortable and the bathroom area is kind of tight but the ceilings are high and we enjoyed our room. *The seaweed wasn't terrible when we were here although it wasn't the best walking beach. If you went beyond the resort people would come up to you and not leave you alone and what seaweed was there made it difficult. We would come back!
