Aparta-Hotel Cayo arena

Just spent one of the nicest weekends with my family (husband, 6 year old and dog!) at hotel Cayo Arena... i seriously have only good things to say about this place and the service. Nicest staff always going over the top to make us feel at home. Apartments and overall infrastructure in very good shape.. Not at all what we were expecting in Monte Cristi, since it still can be very rustic... So here are the PROS: More than a hotel these are apartment units.. unlike other nearby that are just the room 1. stayed at apartment 4, ground floor.. a 2 bedroom, 1 bath with living, kitchen. dining and small balcony. Kitchen is equipped, has a fridge and a stove.. all the basics you need... Both rooms had AC- work well Bathroom a bit small, but you'll be out exploring so no problem! Bath gel and towels in good condition; same for linens in each room... This place was really clean! no mosquitoes thanks to the window screens Theres a parking lot, a small pool area, restaurant at site but the best part is the view.. el morro is your background! Our dog came with us in this trip.. this is a pet friendly hotel! the friendliest ever.. owners have a dog, so our dog had the best time ever! As for breakfast.. our package included it.. basic dominican breakfast: mangu, coffee, juice, grilled cheese, eggs... etc// by the way... the best pineapple juice! No CONS this time around...just great memories and new friends! thank you
