Secrets Royal Beach Punta Cana: Exceptional Service, Stunning Property, and One Major Drawback Our overall experience at Secrets Royal Beach Punta Cana significantly exceeded our expectations. The resort delivers on its promise of luxury with an absolutely stunning property that is meticulously maintained, making for a truly beautiful backdrop to the vacation. The Highs: Service and Comfort The true standout of our trip was the exceptional service. Our Butler, Eddy, was attentive and made sure we were completely satisfied throughout our entire trip. The room was beautiful and consistently kept spotless thanks to fantastic housekeeping. Around the pool, the service was equally outstanding. Our drinks were fabulous, and the staff members made the experience memorable. Specifically, Ruben waited on us daily, providing attentive and gracious service, and Benjamin was a fantastic, skilled bartender at the pool bar. The service throughout the resort was top-notch. An unexpected, but highly appreciated, highlight was the coffee shop. We found ourselves enjoying delicious cappuccinos several times a day—it was a definite plus for our routine. The nightly entertainment was also very good, easily exceeding what we typically expect from hotel shows and activities. Dining Experience (Good, Not Exceptional) The dining experiences were the only part that landed in the "just okay" category. While the food was certainly good, it did not reach the exceptional level or gourmet quality we had anticipated from a resort of this caliber. We were ultimately satisfied with the quality and variety available, but it was perhaps the least impressive aspect of the stay. The One Negative: The Beach Unfortunately, the one significant negative was the beach experience. The "Preferred" area itself was lovely, with comfortable seating and plenty of shade, but we were completely unable to relax. Vendors bothered us the whole time we were there, making it impossible to enjoy the quiet for more than a minute before another one approached. This constant interruption meant we were not able to truly enjoy the beach at all, and we ended up abandoning the beautiful oceanfront setting to return to the peaceful pool area instead.
