It is located inside a closed monitored neighbourhood with more buildings around. In order to get to the area where buildings are, you have to pass a control, and that makes the area safer.The owners are amazing, so nice, very helpful and make you be as comfortable as possible. They give you info about everything you can do around. Breakfast is not big but good enough to start your day. The room is big and comfortable with a big bathroom. A balcony with table and chairs lets you be outside reading or you can even have dinner there and the door is well prepared with an anti mosquitoes protector.. There is a common area with a big sofa where you can watch TV and socialize with other guests. If you go by car, there is plenty space to park outside the neighbourhood but in a safe place as it is inside the control. There is also a restaurant at the beach and very close to other services such as markets, shops, restaurants...In general quality-cost relationship is acceptable considering the high prices in Punta Cana and that you've got a quiet beach in front of you.
I would stay again with no doubt.

 · As it is inside a neighbourhood with more apatments around it's difficult to find it as there is no sign of it. When we got there, we were asking in restaurants and places around where it was and nobody had heard about the hostel. In the end they came to us, we were being helped by the owner of a restaurant to phone them as we couldn't find the hostel and coming from Europe we didn't have a local sim card. Everything fine finally, but there should be a sign outside somewhere

Godd alternative to visit Punta Cana on your own

It’s a lovely place with all the necessary confort.
The private beautiful beach is in front of the B&B
WiFi on the beach was really appreciated 
Michela and Simone are a nice and helpful couple.

Séjour au bord de la mer des Caraïbes

We had a great stay at this B B. Very close to the beach. Synnedsättning for free and no hustling.
The italian coupe who owned the place was really nice. Enough restaurant in the neigerbourhood to visit. Safe aswell. Highly recommend

Great stay

I was very happy with the service Michela and Simone had to offer. They were kind and welcoming from the very first moment. The Italian breakfast was fantastic, homemade and served fresh every morning. The room was cleaned every day, they really pay attention to every detail. Moreover, it is located in a lovely spot, since it has a private beach and from the balcony you have a breathtaking view. Good quality-price ratio!

Awesome place to stay!

located in a safe and quiet area but at the same time close to all you may need. The b&b is inside a condo with 24h security service and 5/6 step away from a private beach..i count it :)...with sunbeds available for just who live in Condo and a security guy who make sure that only condo's guest use it.
If you wish to meet and see more people you can even  move 50/100 mt to go in the beach close by where you can have your sunbed too and a guy from the beachbar/ restourant(located on the beach) will serve you whatever you ask at a resonable price(kind of "resort like" way to live in the beach).
My room was the "queen"and it was  as big as normal hotel room usually are.. i guess even bigger.. . The bed was very confortable and i had lots of space for my things.
I had my private bathroom inside. The room was clean as the staff clean it every day togheter with all the apartment. I didnt try the breakfast.
Wireless connection was very good inside and outside the apartment. You can use it on the beach and it works fantastically.
The staff was very attentive and always ready to help me for any type of reason. I had my fly back at 8:30 pm and even if i was supposed to check out within 10:00 am they let me stay without any extracharge and also arrange a taxi to the airport for me.
What esle..i strongly reccomend this place that i consider a great alternative to resort like vacation in punta cana.

Smart place to be

Amazing location! Private beach just next to accomodation! Safe area and amazing friendly people! I would recommend this place to everybody! I was solo girl traveler and i felt very safe! When I arrived i didnt have a suitcase bcs they lost it at the aiport and the owner was very helpful and adviced me where to buy things and even where is it cheaper to go. They arranged taxi for me so I didnt need to be afraid as a girl to go somewhere alone. The price is amazing for staying there. And u have restaurants and bar close by. If i ever come back I will definetely book this place. Thank u so much for making my holiday so nice:)!!!

Amazing stay!

B&B Playa Matilde is a simple but nice play to stay in Punta Cana.
Instead of wasting money in big resorts, is possible to have a enjoyable time here.
The location is really good, you stay just 20 meters from the beach and near nice restaurants.
We shared the flat with nice couples from other parts of the world, and was an amazing experience.
The room is confortable and clean. The breakfast is simple but enough.
The owners (an intalian couple), Simone and Michela, are really friendly and helpful.
We hope to back some day to this paradise Island and meet you again, really thanks,

Great experience

We found this Bed & Breakfast walking on the beach. The service is excelent and the rooms are very cleans and comfortable.
The beach is outside the door!
I reccomend the place and the breakfast was very good for the home-made cakes.
I will return... for sure!

Amazing beach and comfortable room! Good value for money!

Me and my husband are not the "all inclusive resorts" kind of people, so finding B&B Playa Matilde, right in the middle of gorgeous Bavaro Beach, was a real deal! 
You will have the best value for your money. Simone and Michaela are great hosts. She cooks the best pastries ever. The room is clean and cosy, with AC and fan. Shower could be better. The B&B is greatly located, with walking distance from a lot of restaurants and supermarkets. It also has its private beach. We spent a great week there!

for 70 $ you can stay in Riviera Punta Cana Eco travellers hotel( just nextdoor) ,  where you have nice big rooms with a fantastic breakfast , served in the garden.
