Sønderbygaard Bed & Breakfast

I stayed at Sønderbygaard with a relative for three nights while we explored the area from which our ancestors emigrated. We stayed in the apartment (they also do B&B), which was clean and comfortable, and provided the perfect home base for us. After a day of exploring Lemvig, Holstebro, the Salling peninsula or Bovbjerg lighthouse, we loved coming back to this working farm, fixing a nice meal, taking a walk around the fields and enjoying the peace and quiet. Artist Christina and her family live in a house next door and the place is always buzzing, with art gallery/studio/classes, children, ponies... Christina had tons of helpful advice and the price was reasonable. This was our favorite place of our entire trip.
