This place is  in an old farmhouse complete with thatched roof. 

Inside it is thoroughly modernized with taste and all the modern comforts.

 The hostess is gracious and helpful, the rooms are well appointed, and there are plenty of communal spaces, including a kitchen where guests can make their meals and in general make themselves comfortable.

 A breakfast buffet is also available, but not included in the room price.  The breakfast includes , ciders, honeys and preserves all homemade from Ryethoejgaard's  fruittrees and bees.

If you enjoy hiking in unspoilt nature you'll find well marked hiking trails right outside the door. They'll take you along meadows into old growth forrests, and if you wish, to nearby towns with little cafees .

While the B&B is located in the countryside there is a train station close by in Vaerloese  that will take you to the center of Copenhagen in about  25-30 min. By car the driving time  depends on the time of day, but outside of rush hour it is about 20 min.
 
There is no doubt that my husband and I will be staying here whenever we visit Denmark.

Denmark as in the fairy tales.

We stayed three nights in this beautiful building. A few kilometers from the capital. We only returned in the evening but we could stay there all day and enjoy a complete relaxation. The interiors are very well furnished and the bathrooms, although they are shared between several rooms, we always found them in perfect order and always provided with plenty of towels. The lady is very kind. Our request for a phon was promptly granted. The exterior is also perfectly maintained. We highly recommend!!

Highest level

Wonderful. Pictures can not describe the reality. You just have to come, see and live. Me (the coach) and my 5 junior tennis players were in love with everything here. We felt like home. Peaceful, quiet, great rooms, great sleeping, away from the town. Eva was like a mom for us, helpfull all the time. We had also the luck to have breakfast while watching the dears taking also breakfast in the garden. We try to make it as a destination for every year from now on.

Just amazing

This place is located just a short drive North of Copenhagen city center and there is an S train station nearby also.  There's plenty of room for free parking (unlike city center hotels) and beautiful countryside surrounding you.  It feels like you are well out into the countryside rather than inside the noisy  and congested city.  A pleasant escape from the city each evening or just spend the day and enjoy the scenery.  There is a forest and lake within walking distance and a golf course adjacent.  We always try to stay here when frequently visiting Scandinavia.

Copenhagen's best kept secret!

Typical Danish farmhouse 15 km from Copenhagen, we opted for this solution because it offered us an apartment, not very cheap but given the prices in the city, we decided to stay in the countryside and enjoy the kitchen of our apartment. Too bad the kitchen was not there but in common with the other guests of the other rooms. The uncomfortable beds, a table and a shy refrigerator at the bottom..the entrance door had no key, we had to lock the doors of the bedrooms, this because Mrs. Braun has a group of workers who in the evening after using the kitchen in common are having fun with alcohol and dancing, too bad the structure of the kitchen is not right because we want to release a few workers who use our own services.

The ghost apartment.

We (parents and 2 adult children) booked 2 double rooms. One of the DZs was extremely small. There were only 2 beds in the room, there was no room for a closet or a dressing room. The small room was as expensive as the big room and so overpriced. This was a big disappointment for us. The breakfast cost €12.

A very friendly B&B. It is located approx. 15 min drive from Copenhagen. Ryethojgard is a beautiful place, wonderful garden, nice and huge rooms. It is a quiet place with animal around. In Addition to all the animals on the B&B a deer showed up at the of Garden. We booked 3 rooms for the Weekend. 2 with bathrom and 1 with Bath in the Hall. All the bathrooms had a lot of space. The bathrom in the hall had also washing maschine and dryer. Bed was comfortable. We enjoyed  breakfast both days, that had nice selection. There was also a kitchen that can be used for own cooking. We all enjoyed our stay and will surely come back.

Great B&B

Nice rooms, helpful owner, delightful food, peace and quiet, a bliss and sanctuary every night after our busy schedule. (and a nap in their hammock).
I can highly recommend this place for single, couple or family.

An exellent stay

I had a lovely room on the 1 floor overlooking fields and forest, and I saw many deers who came to feed in the evening.
It was quiet, clean, cozy and comfy. Good wifi connection and free coffee and te maker in the nice kitchen, I borrowed some books (in English) from their library, and sat down in a large soft sofa with my tea that's life

As you will read the breakfasts are out of this world. I could stop with the fresh baked bread and homemade yogurt, and local strawberry preserve,  but could not resist the  French cheese selection

The owner are so welcoming and kind. She helped me plan some great outings in northseeland, and a visit to Hamlet's Castle Kronborg in Helsingor

I do hope my travels will take me this way again!

I loved this B&B!

We booked two double rooms in July 2013. The location and facilities of the rooms (not the toilets!) were very nice, but the house is not professionally run. We complain: there was a communal bathroom for several rooms, which also included the toilet. No separate toilet. Of course, at rush hour the bathroom was constantly occupied, and there was also a washing machine. At this room price each room should have its own bathroom! We had no idea of such a shortage in an object of this equipment.
