Tarskov Mølle - Anna's Bed & Breakfast & Holidayapartments

We stayed for three weeks in the old Mill, originally 14th century, rebuilt 16 - 17th century. Authentic, interesting, clean and comfortable. The other farm buildings and the house are all from the same period. Peter our host was fun, so helpful and kind. He went out of his way to give us help with bicycles, managing our luggage and catching our train.
Rose lovers attention for next year's Rose Conference! Peterson's rose nursery is very close by. A short cycle, a couple of minutes by car or a comfortable walk past beautiful countryside.
From Australian perspective this place is magic.

Run by a friendly owner and has a clean bathroom. Suitable for kids to play outside!
Breakfast is served in the nice and authentic livingroom.
Very cosy and quiet surroundings.
Would come again when in Denmark.

We (2 adults and 2 children) found that nice farmhouse accidentally looking for shelter near Aarhus city in the evening. The owner and his wife were very friendly and helpful. We got 2 cozy rooms with reasonable price. We shared the bathroom with other guests, but it was not uncomfortable.
Owner boiled water for us, despite the late time of day,  because we wanted to make tea and eat some sandwiches.
We stayed for one night only and we slept like babies. The surroundings were very quiet. Next morning simple breakfast was already waiting. Also we got a chance to feed the horses with carrots  :) It was a pleasant change from the usual hotel.

We traveled as a family of six and was impressed by the old  and beautiful buildings that are built on the 16th century out of the ruins from an old castle. The stay was quiet and relaxed and there was a lot of space for the kids. They played ball and watched the horse eating carrots. The apartment was big enough for our family of six. The owner was very service- minded and helpful. If you like living on a quiet, peaceful and charming farm, this is perfect!

In all my years I have never had to pay for bed linen!!! I booked this bed and breakfast (which by the way he does not do even though it says it is included) for £56 only to discover that when you arrive you also have to pay for bed linen. The place looks completed dated and it is not secure as none of the doors in the bedroom have locks. The guy is nice but should not be advertising his place and charging so much when you have to pay for extras. Very dissapointed
