Penzion Kolovna

We traveled to the Czech Republic in April and stayed at the most wonderful place-Penzion Kolovna! We stayed in one of the double rooms that is in a separate building from the main hotel, and it was perfect-clean, beautiful view and outside sitting area. The food, breakfast and dinner was included, was delicious with large portions. The owner, Richard, was extremely accommodating and would prepare anything that we asked for-excellent chef! Wine and cocktails were available for purchase and the prices were very reasonable. All of his employees were wonderful and Martina was the most helpful person I have met in years-she went over and beyond to help us, especially when we wanted to go into the church where my father was baptized in a neighboring village. She arranged the visit with the parson, and while we couldn’t speak Czech or Polish we muddled through as Martina’s English was great! Everyone was very patient with our Czech language skills-we will be better next time! We will definitely be returning and look forward to staying at Penzion Kolovna again! Thank you Richard for the most memorable trip!
