DownTown Suites Chlumova

I booked a short trip to Prague for myself and my boyfriend as it was his 21st birthday and found this accommodation as part of Ryanair rooms. We stayed in the studio apartment, situated on the 2nd floor which was spacious enough for us both and met all of our needs. A large concrete, spiral staircase lead up to all of the apartment rooms and at the bottom of the stairs there were various leaflets for tours/trips which we found to be beneficial. The apartment itself was very modern with high ceilings and a large queen sized bed. The bathroom, although fairly small, was adequate and was very clean when we arrived; towels and soap were provided. The kitchenette was also quite modern and well equipped with various utensils as well as an electric hob, fridge and microwave. The apartment was nice and warm throughout our stay; I have read previous reviews saying that the apartments were cold? Yes, the thermostat couldn’t be adjusted but it was set and maintained at 23 degrees without fault. On several occasions we noticed how warm the radiators got as the bathroom mirror doubled up as a radiator and there were three more frosted glass panel radiators situated in the sleeping area. Overall, we found the apartment to be exactly what we needed for our trip and had no issues or complaints with it. It was easy enough getting into Prague 1, we bought some bus tickets from a nearby mini-market and got the 207 bus into Prague 1 (roughly 9 stops). I would highly recommend it to anyone who’s interested in visiting and exploring Prague but doesn’t want to spend loads extra to be situated in the direct city centre. In addition to this, Zizkov also has many shops, restaurants and tourist attractions so everything was literally on our doorstep.
