I first visited Camp Dolce in 2001 with my brother after spotting it on a camping map, it impressed me then and I came back recently and stayed here on a couple of occasions in the last few years. It has to be my favourite camp site, a few in Holland come close but this has a special character. It is in a beautiful setting with lakes, fields and hills to explore, the mountains are not far away, the staff are friendly, well organised and helpful, there is a great kiosk near a lake at the base of the site where you can also go swimming, the site is clean and lovely to look at. There is plenty here for any family to enjoy or anyone camping solo. It is unique. I am going back this year.
