Penzion Kometa

I stayed from 8/17/14 to 8/19/14 with my husband and with my sister and her husband. The hotel is refurbished, very modern and clean (we stayed in an apartment with 2 master bedrooms and a kitchen, fireplace etc.) and definitely worth the money that we paid. The staff is very friendly, speaking good English, too. Special thanks to Ms. Zaneta that was taking care of us for the whole stay, she was very professional - nothing was a problem, we wanted to make our own food one night but forgot an olive oil, she gave me a bottle from the restaurant. The same goes with the cooks and servers - if you want to experience a true Czech hospitality, Kometa is definitely a place to be. And the food in the restaurant is excellent for the price you pay. The Nove Mlyny lake is only few steps away and the biggest water park in Czech is 5 minutes away going by car. The only downfall for me is that you cannot pay with a card and the nearest ATM is 9 km away. In the 21st century, especially in a tourist place like Pasohlavky, I would take that for granted. If it was not for this, I would have definitely given 5 stars. (S manzelem a sestrou se svagrem jsme byli ubytovani od 17/8/14 do 19/8/14. Vybrali jsme si apartman se dvemi loznicemi, ubytovani bylo vynikajici, apartman je uplne novy, moderni, komfortni. Personal na jednicku, velke diky patri predevsim slecne Zanete, ktera se o nas cely pobyt starala, byla opravdu velmi profesionalni, ochotna, mila, nic nebyl problem - kdyz jsem v jedenact vecer prisla do restaurace poprosit, zda bychom mohli dostat trochu olivoveho oleje, protoze jsme si ho zapomneli a chteli jsme si udelat steaky, hned mi dala celou lahev. I dalsi cisnici, kuchari atd. byli skveli. Jedine minus je, ze neni mozne platit kartou a nejblizsi bankomat je 9 km daleko. Ve 21. stoleti, v turisticky navstevovanem miste obzvlast, by to mela byt samozrejmost. Nebyt toho, tak davam pet hvezdicek.
