Penzion Rzehaczek

This place will remaind you of what word family realy means. Stay in Bogdan's family penzion is always delightful experience, will hug you with all its warmth. Calm atmosphere, wooden room experience, wellness and perfectly prepared homemade food mixture produces perfect place for family and couple stays cross all the seasons.

We have spent some days at Rzehaczek with our 2 small daughters. It was a great time. Rzehaczek is very good located. It takes only a few minutes to get ski area or to start mountain trip. And if you hungry just open the door and order something... Rzehaczek restaurant serves tasty traditional Czech cuisine.

My family and myself stayed at Penzion Rzehaczek over Christmas for a week, it was our first time spending Christmas away from the UK, but were promised by our lovely Czech friend it would be good fun and it was. Bogdan and his staff were excellent. The building is beautiful and set in truly lovely settings. Our room was spacious and very clean and breakfast every morning was a treat. Only thing missing was snow! But we still found lots to do and fun was had by all. Can highly recommend this lovely little hotel. 

I'm Horni for Lumna!

When i was younger I always remember being given a 3d wooden carving picture of an idyllic log cabin  complete with roaring fire and stove for Christmas.

 Part of me always wanted to find this place and after years of searching around the globe at last I think i may have found the place which closely resembles my childhood fairytale house.  rzechaczek in the mountains of North East  Czech Republic  in a delightful named little hamlet called Horni Lumna!

Set at the foot of a disused ( for now) Ski slope,  mind you it might help to have some snow to encourage its rehabilitation! this gorgeous little b&b is the perfect hideaway for hikers and their ilk! 

Complete with draught beer, home made cooked food,  a Sauna and hot tub spacious rooms you can really feel you've landed on your timberlands here!!

Run by the very amiable and hospitable host Bogdan and his lovely wife Valerie It really is the most relaxing and chilled place to hang out in after taking one of the many beautiful and scenic surrounding walks. 

Indeed its a favourite stop off for many locals and experienced walkers for lunch . The food is wonderful and hot the beer is cold,  what more could you want? 

We stumbled upon this place by accident and liked it so much that we decided to stay. 

If your looking for somewhere out of the way for peace, tranquility and a 'get away from it all' relaxing break, Look no further than rzechaczek!

. I am already back in that little childhood cabin in my cranium  ..

Altogether now ....# I'm Horni , Horni, Horni, Lumna!...#

Wen spent a week of summer family vacation there and were excited. We love this kind of a family owned apartment accomodation. This one surprised us by very cosy atmosphere in a wooden house built modern but with the old classical technology from centuries ago. Lovely local cuisine served in a small romantic pub can be accompanied by Pilsner Urquell or selection of good Moravian wines. If you are into sports like we are you can play a beach volleyball on a beach volleyball court in front of the pension or you can do some fitness training on a fitness instalation next to the beach court. In summer you cann't miss mountain hike or bike opportunities in the mountains and if it is winter you can go skiing with your boots on almost right from the apartment so close is a nice 800 meter long piste.And in the evening you can relax in a private jacuzzi and sauna. Huuu :-)
