Wenceslas Square Hotel - Czech Leading Hotels

We only stayed here for one night, but it ended up being exactly what we needed. The location couldn’t have been more convenient—just short walks to the museum, the main shopping street, and the central train station. Since we were catching a train out of Prague the next evening, this made our lives so much easier. The hotel itself is a beautiful historical building, which gives it a bit of old-world charm We booked a room with a little Juliette balcony that looked out toward the castle, which felt like such a nice detail. But you don’t even need the balcony to enjoy the views as the hotel has a rooftop bar that serves drinks (including non-alcoholic ones), and the city looks absolutely stunning from up there. The rooms themselves were cozy. One detail worth mentioning: some of the bathrooms have clear glass walls while others are frosted, so depending on who you’re traveling with, it’s something to keep in mind. Also for anyone who prefers extra peace and quiet, it might be worth requesting a room a little further from the rooftop area—there can be a bit more foot traffic around those rooms. The staff here were fantastic from start to finish—warm, attentive, and genuinely helpful. They assisted us with our bags, showed us up to our room, and made the check-in and check-out process completely seamless. I did add breakfast to our booking, but to be honest, it didn’t quite live up to the rest of the experience. Not bad, just not as memorable. Overall, for a quick stop in Prague—especially if you’re traveling by train—this place is a winner. It felt easy, comfortable, and had those little touches (like the rooftop and balcony view) that made the stay feel special.
