The young staff spoke excellent English, and rented us bikes for the day of touring the huge grounds of the castle. The location with a gate to the grounds was fabulous for evening walks on the castle grounds as well. We had one of the huge upstairs rooms, so we could spread out our bags. We didn't use the minibar, but kept a few items in the fridge. The place seems very modern and looks like a motel, but was a building from the castle grounds before renovations as a hotel. Very good breakfast. We were surprised at how few rooms were occupied even though we were there at the beginning of the peak season.
