Hotel Obecní dům

Hotel Obecní dům (Municipal House) is an ornate nicely reconstructed old building near the center of Semily. Parking is available right in front of the hotel free of charge. The hotel is located on quite busy street, which is the only real disadvantage of this place. Our sleep was disturbed by passing cars since very early morning. The room on second floor was equipped with all necessities including kitchen unit. The bathroom was spacious with a tub and really strong hot shower. Wi-fi signal was strong and reliable, free of charge. The breakfast exceeded our expectation and was served in cozy attic room. The range and quality would suit even a more expensive hotel. There is a restaurant of the same name in the hotel building, which is however unrelated to the hotel and not recommendable.
