St. Nicolas Elegant Residence

My family and I have just come back from a 9 night stay at this apartment hotel. Look, let’s be fair, the price was unreal, so you can’t go expecting all the bells and whistles of a 5 star/5 star price hotel. We stayed in the Daisy block, on the top floor, our apartment was clean, tidy and everything worked fine to the point where we were able to construct Christmas dinner in comfort. The staff are actually pretty special. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Being the low season the outdoor pool was a bit nippy, but they kept the indoor heated past the shutoff time for us to enjoy at our leisure. Breakfast is awesome!! I’m sure my sons got our money’s worth from the help yourself buffet style, but no complaints were made despite the carnage from my teenagers and from my 2 year old running riot in the dining room. I’ve read some of the reviews on here, and yes, there are cat’s, but it’s Cyprus for goodness sake, what do you expect. Yes, they roam the hotel, the roads, the beaches, everywhere you go. But I never saw them in the kitchen and they only go in the dining room if guests let them. I’ll be booking here again. It’s close enough to Paphos centre, buses are readily available. Taxis cheap enough if you don’t want to use public transport and there’s enough local shops and eateries so you can have lazy days on your balcony. Don’t be put off by other reviews. There’s plenty of life left here. Thanks for a lovely holiday.
