Apinelo Hostel

Stayed here in an apartment for two nights while in Split.  This place is about a five minute walk from the bus and ferry terminals. The promenade, old part of the city, and nearest beach are also only 5 minutes away. The apartment I had was located a couple minutes from the reception area.  It was spacious, clean, quiet, and had a kitchen.  There is a grocery store next door and many places to eat and drink on the same street.  This place was exactly what I was looking for and I enjoyed my stay.

Enjoyed our stay in split , we had a good nights stay in a double private room which comes with a secret disco ball ! Easy check in and out, is close to split ferryport and also the town centre. Shops and 24 hour bakery nearby 

Arrived early in the morning in Split and we were able to check straight in. Very enthusiastic lady on reception who couldn't do enough for us. Great sized rooms and good sized kitchen with a fridge for each room. Incredible value for money, and 5 minutes walk to the sea front. Please note new reception location; don't walk up stairs with heavy backpacks if you don't need to!

Apinelo has a few properties and I stayed in one of the private rooms/apartments away from the hostel and the tower rooms. It was an enjoyable stay.

The location was very good, within walking distance to the Palace, the main bus station and the ferry terminal. We arrived very late, but the host met us directly outside the apartment to check us in and gave us a lot of good suggestions. The very few staff members we interacted with were generally very nice. The room was clean and comfortable.

Luggage storage was possible at their reception, which was a few minutes away from the apartment.

The only complaint I had is the water heater. Maybe the capacity was not big enough. Hot water was depleted quickly. Not a major issue in early autumn, but it might be a problem in winter.

A good stay here at Apinelo. We cancelled a previous hostel due to their being mites there so we found this.

Really central-ish location, 5 min walk from the market near the main square. Room was clean, facilities also good. Would recommend.

Giving this 4 stars because of the service. The front desk staff was extremely knowledgeable, well versed in English and helpful, giving local tips and even helping us find out bus timings to the local mountain!

However I have to give it 4 stars because of the location - the hostel reception was located in the corner of this old office building, and the room we booked (Radunica) was a 5 minute walk away. It says so on Hostelworld, but it was inconvenient still! The room itself was also not much bigger than a double bed, which gave us some problems when packing.

However, I'd still like to commend the front desk staff for their friendliness and responsiveness, bringing us everything we asked for!

Great location and wonderful staff. Important to note that there is a central reception area and rooms are in separate buildings (not far away). I would suggest calling ahead to confirm your check in time as reception is not always staffed. Stayed twice, one week apart (with our cruise starting and ending in split). The first time we were upgraded to a ‘studio’ apartment with a kitchenette, and the other time we had a shared kitchen between 3. Lovely clean facilities with everything we needed
