Apartment Gacka

My husband, 4-year daughter and me spent three days in Gacka Valley staying in Apartman Gacka. This was really extraordinary experience. Mostly thanks to the host Denis. We were welcomed so warmly, so nicely and we felt as we came to a family visit. Denis prepared coffee, gave some snack to our daughter, he explained thoroughly what we can do, see, explore in Gacka Valley. He told us some history as well. We rented kayak and he said that he can pick us up at any time, at any point (if it is too long or demanding for us, taking into account a small child)..he was at our disposal all the time. In the evening he booked for us a table in one restaurant where we had real dinner from Lika (lička večera) and he organised for us 50% discount in this restaurant. The following day we rented bikes for free! He did not charge bikes! The same day ...as we were cycling he sent a message that the pancakes are prepared for us. Really amazing hospitality! Denis does everything with heart and soul...one can feel this. We were really impressed. The apartment itself is nice, clean, cosy. It has two bedrooms, a kind of a living room and dining room, kitchenette and a small bathroom. This apartment is rated with two stars but it deserves three stars for sure! There is a beautiful terrace next to the apartment which is to be used by guests and it is great. You can make a barbecue if you want, have a drink peacefully... There is also a beautiful yard with trampoline, sandbox, toboggan, so children's fun is guaranteed as well. This place is definitely to recommend. We Thank Denis for everything, for such a great time we had in Otočac.
