Guesthouse Mimbelli

So we did not actually stay at the Mimbelli because I had booked completely the wrong date! 29 august instead of 29 July. We arrived in the town after sitting in the most horrific traffic jam for at least two hours. The jam with due to a concert taking place on nearby Korcula. My car then got blocked down a nearby alley so I was pretty stressed by the time I arrived at the hotel and I could not believe the mistake I had made. The staff could not have been nicer - they helped us find nearby accommodation, one of the waiters came and helped me get my car out of the alleyway and into the hotel parking. While seated at the dining table trying to sort ourselves out, I ordered a cappuccino and when the waiter put it down he said ‘it’s on us.’ Wished we had stayed there. Was really impressed with the staff. Lovely situation right in the center of the seafront and near the ferry port.
