Vila Vala - Apartment

Stayed here for 5 nights in June. Great budget accommodation compared to anywhere else in Lapad. The apartment is up a steep flight of steps ( which we didn’t mind) and the location is just lovely - central to Lapad but tucked away and very peaceful. The apartment itself is quite dated but one of the best equipped in terms of crockery etc and immaculately clean. We had a shady terrace with a table and chairs and enjoyed watching the various cats passing through. Internet signal is good too. There is a large Tommy supermarket about a 10 minute walk away as well as restaurants and cafes all about. Nice walks close by along the coast and about an hour’s pleasant walk into Dubrovnik ( which incidentally was soo busy and we were glad not to be staying there). There are also buses into the old town and to Port Gruz. The owners were about but gave us privacy as well as chocolate and oranges from the garden. A very nice experience.
