Cute stay in the city walls of old Dubrovnik Be aware there are many steps to access. The bed was comfy, accommodation was clean and quiet and had what we needed for a couple of nights stay

Pro: Perfect location❤️ Communication with the property was great! The Scalini Palace is quaint and beautiful. Small kitchenette was well stocked. Cons: I thought I reserved a room with a balcony and it was only a Juliet balcony, maybe my mistake and I thought breakfast was included, didn’t realize that I had to make it myself 😂All in all I would stay there again when we come back❤️

Sold 4* option in the old city just off the main street with character. Nicely appointed room with a kitchenette. Only negative was a slight odor in the room which they tried to cover up with cleaning aromas. Not horrible - just slightly unpleasant. Wouldn’t cause me to stay elsewhere. Short walk to 2 main gates to the old city which is flat. But the hotel does not have an elevator so stairs are required inside.

Small quaint hotel right in the middle of Old Town Dubrovnik. Clean. Very small balcony but too hot to even have the door open. Had one torrential rainstorm for almost 12 hours and the roof then leaked. No damage done but it could have had we had our suitcase in the water drop area cause it stained the white towels from the varnish on the wood beams. Hopefully they have fixed the problem.

Armin on reception was super helpful and friendly. Cooked Breakfast brought to you each morning at your chosen time. Super central location, room spacious and cleaned daily! Thank you to the team at Scalini Palace!!

Alen at reception was fabulous. Checked pur arrival time ; was there to meet us at the front door. Hrlped eith bags up to room & explained breakfast.Breakfast delivery EXACTLY st 8am - superb & very tasty and clearly cooked a few minutes earlier.Location of hotel was unbeatable and such good value for money.Outdsde noise from bustling historic side walkway below easily muffled out by closing the very effective founle glazed window, but leaving open was delightful listening to other people enjying life.

Excellent location in Old Town. Staff were very friendly and communicated well prior to arrival.  Room was spacious and clean, bathroom was good. Breakfast was limited but convenient.  No elevator so if you have a lot of luggage it can be a haul.

The most perfect spot to explore Dubrovnik

Based in the old town but only 2 steps up from the Stradun (great if you have a lot of luggage) A bit of noise in the evening but not too bad (we were on the 3rd floor) Perfectly located for all the amenities of the old town. Friendly staff. Good breakfast served in the rooms

A nice place to stay. The property is modern, clean and perfect for a couple of days away. It would benefit from a handy man to do a couple of simple jobs, such as tighten taps, screw table top to base, tighten shelf fixing, secure door handle into bathroom, fix dangerous electric socket next to shelf. Courteous welcome and daily service of room.

Delightful Dubrovnik Sensational Scalini

Nice local hotel, smack in the center of the old town. Nice staff. It's not as a great as the photos suggest. No balconies, you are looking at the adjacent wall. If you come with luggage, beware. Parking is 15 minutes away minimum. The recommended parking garage ripped us off. Not the hotels fault but I ask them to never recommend this again. They charged 304 EUR instead of the adversities 80 EUR for less than two days parking. Very bad feeling leaving Dubrovnik. Generally the city is now overpriced. We won’t come back for a while.

We loved our visit to Dubrovnik . City is buzzing and friendly lovely staff everywhere . Hotel was relaxed and mini apartment room at 4 th floor. . Do not get dropped of at the Buza Gate wrong gate into city as there is very large stairs down to  street all the way to the to bottom . Ask taxi to take you to Pile or Ploce gate . Hotel staff and convience to everything from their hotel level is superb.

Our recent trip to Dubrovnik July 2024

This was a great hotel.  Location was wonderful - in the city center.  There is not an elevator - would you expect one in this old city?  Front desk staff was helpful.  helped carry our luggage up to our rooms.  We did get our exercise going to and from our rooms, but this could be said for the entire city.  If you expected it to be flat walking, you didn't do any research about where you were going.  Offered four breakfast choices and it was delivered to our room at a time of our choosing between 7 am and 10:30 am. When we had to leave for the airport before 7 am, they gave us ham and cheese sandwiches for us to eat the next morning. Our room had windows facing the alleyway so the noise from the Irish pub across from the hotel could be heard until about 1 am.  Bring earplugs or a sound machine if noise bothers you. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone.

chose this hotel due to its location in the old town. the service was AMAZING. came in early and asked to leave our bags with the front desk. when we came back, they had already taken our bags to our room when it was ready. up 4 flights of stairs! they brought breakfast to us every morning too, many different options. very good nights of sleep, couldn't recommend this place more

pleasantly surprised

Fantastic location in the Old City, so full of character and close to all the sites. Unfortunately let down somewhat by the communication (no one on the desk when we arrived, had to phone), the rooms and staff responsiveness (broken shower head which was never repaired), and the lack of any contact until the last day when they wanted to collect tourist tax
