Guest House Lucia

Me and my boyfriend have just got back from a 2 week stay at Guest House Lucia and couldn't recommend it more. Lucia is such a lovely, kind lady who made us feel more than welcome as soon as we arrived she was always available to help out with anything we needed. Our room was fantastic and spacious for the price we paid, it had everything we could want and the most beautiful view from the balcony. The town centre is only a 10 minute walk which was great as we didn't want to be staying right in the centre. We would definitely go back to Cavtat and stay at Guest house Lucia again. 

Guest House Lucia was a very affordable and very nice place to stay. Lucia herself is a very welcoming host and a warm person, she gave us some lovely cold water when we arrived and showed us everything and then left us to it, but would enquire throughout our week how we were getting on. She also arranged a transfer for us to the airport when we left which was cheaper than the cab that we got in. Our room had wifi, aircon, a fridge and a balcony and all were excellent and the room was kept spotless. Cavtat is a lovely town which is a five minute walk downhill (past a handily placed supermarket) and a ten minute walk back uphill. Its a great base for exploring the region and we went to Mostar and Montenegro by coach and to Dubrovnik by boat and all were very good value for money. We found food, drink and service to be very good overall in Cavtat and will definitely be back.

This is a large house owned by a wonderful lady, 'Mrs Lucia' as she is known. She used to be a schoolteacher and has the most beautiful handwriting. She speaks limited English, but is so friendly and enthusiastic that you just end up smiling every time you see her! There is a large family kitchen that you can use, and we had a decent sized en-suite with a balcony with a good view down over the bay.

It's right at the top of the town, but close to one of the Pemo supermarkets, and just round the corner from the cavtat tourist agency, who couldn't have been more helpful.

A bargin price to stay, in a very friendly home. We had a great week, and would definitely recommend it.
