Rooms Niko reminds you of those charming old family houses. The owners are extremely friendly and sweet. Our luggage was delayed by more than a day and Ivana was sweet enough to give us her and her husband's clothes till our luggage arrived. They gave us extra towels and footwear which was more than anything we could have asked for. We were welcomed with a refreshingly cold orange juice and a tray of fruits on arrival. We stayed there for 3 nights and they would politely ask us to take fruits (grapes and figs) from their little garden. They gave us booklets on the best places to see, all the restaurants that we could eat at and the bus routes. Since the house is located on steps, I and my husband came up with a great plan to take the bus so that we didn't have to climb steps anytime. :) We reach the lower street (by climbing down the stairs and taking a left and then again going down another flight of steps and then a left to reach the main street)where there was a bus stop named Hebranga 3. Bus Number 8 would take us to the Old Town where all the attractions are. While coming back, we would take Bus Number 3 and get down at a bus stop called Magistrala 3 and cross the road and walk down the flight of steps and reach back. For anyone taking a taxi. Hotel Adria is the best landmark and is a 3-4 minute walk from the house.
