Arthur is a very nasty piece of work. He will smile like a crocodile & ply you with brandy, sprawling on the couch overlooking the harbour, watching live football at all hours. He will slice up a lemon, ensure that cognac is cold. A very very bad influence. I commented last night that Chinese beer is weak as soda water. This is how he gets his revenge. Plying me with free cognac that's a thousand times better than the local hooch. Yvonne his girlfriend is also horrible. I wish I saw more of her but I had to leave for Macau early next day. Now to a good point: staying here is very affordable; get a good start on Macau for a day trip (hostels there? Hmmm.) Zhuhai is not the most obvious nor wonderful place in China; nor is it too bad. Take a stroll around the bays. Not fantastic; but you're in a spot on (99 bus) strategic position in this nice hostel. Arthur's getting a pool table in next week he says. Great. Needs a wee bit more of the hostel feel. Part from that, really comfy dorms, bathrooms are fine. Whether you're crossing to HK or 99'ing it through to Macau, this is my recom. Other choices are few & far between. Not the point. You will enjoy your stay here. Thank you my friends.
