A very good experience here. I was staying in a comfort room, which was on the rooftop of the property. Lovely, minimalist design and spacious. Location was great, as I like my peace and quiet. However, the guest house is right on the edge of the ancient city (about 50m from the Erhai Gate) so had good access into the town. Being Dali, there's a lot of good food options nearby and in the town. The proprietors clearly love their job and were easily accessible. The receptionist speaks some English, but where discussing more complex plans she called the proprietor to answer my queries. They were also pro-active in offering me travel advice and organizing my onward transit. The only con is that hot water was slow to come on.
