Kaifujianguo Hotel

Good check in experience, friendly front desk staff. Free airport pickup.  Room on fourth floor near elevator. Clean linen on very comfortable western style bed, and very good shower spray and good hot water.  All amenities included. Except no English TV stations which is quite unusual for an international hotel located within the airport.  Lobby area and hallways, chilly in the winter months, but heating in room worked quite well, and relatively quiet. Room was very clean, and glass and mirrors sparkled.

This is a nice hotel and one of the few in Zhengzhou (close to the airport) that will accept "foreign" guests (non-Chinese passport holder).

The rooms are spacious and comfortable, service is professional and includes a free shuttle bus to the airport upon departure.

Price is high for what you get though....approx 700Rmb per night.

Breakfast is included for 2 people, however is limited to Chinese buffet with no "western" breakfast offered.

Overall a satisfying stay, but expected for the price.

Stayed in this hotel for one night in August in order to take an early flight in the morning. Located quite near the Zhengzhou airport, about 5 mins drive. Saw a few pilots staying in the same hotel.The standard room was spacious (about 300 sq feet), and was very clean and tidy.  Free wifi available. The buffet breakfast provided both Chinese and western styles of food. Overall a good choice if you want to stay near the airport.

Nice Large Rooms

A high quality hotel near Zhengzhou airport

Location

Hotel is located right across the street from Zhengzhou airport, however you cannot walk it and need to take a shuttle bus. The city is over an hour drive away. There is very little to do outside of hotel, its just convenient for the airport. 

Room

The room on the 4th floor had two twin beds but quite large size. Quite comfortable with easy to access plug sockets in between beds where a phone is also located plus switches for all lights. The room is quite spacious and offers a large workable desk with lamp as well as a small curved sofa and glass table. There is also a luggage rack, basic coffee making facilities and large wardrobe with safe. The room decor is ok, not spotlessly clean though and the wall paper is quite grubby with stains noticed. Light is good with large windows with view of airfield. 
Bathroom is of good size with a large shower cubicle - issue is the water doesn't drain very well the cubicle gains a bit of a puddle for a long while. Amenities are all hotel branded and simple. They offer 2 complimentary bottles of water. 
The main issue with this room is that it was very hot, the digital AC doesn't seem to go below 25C despite setting lower. It meant sleeping was hard in April when it was quite hot outside. 

Facilities

The hotel offers free WIFI and worked well enough- multiple devices with no issue regarding VPN. 
There is also a business centre in the lobby. 
Catering includes a buffet and normal restaurant, also a lobby bar but was never open. There is according to map a SPA and also a chess room but did not see these. 
The building is quite nice from outside, like forbidden city style. 

Staff

Staff seem ok, but lack much standard of English. Check-in took a while though. 

Overall its the best hotel closest to the airport but its not of an international standard. However convenient for airport.

Convenient for airport, Chinese hotel. Room is quite hot in Spring since AC works poorly.

Had to stay here 1 night due to a flight delay. 
Hotel is close (5 minutes by shuttle) to the airport and has an own shuttle from airport to hotel.
Friendly reception desk with enough knowledge of English to check in.

Free wifi on the room.
Take away breakfast modest.
Room smelled as used by smoker(s) previously (even ashtray on the table), but states as non smoking room via a leaflet.
Carpet flooring not clean, glas on tables not clean, bathroom simply said very dirty.(see pictures). Carbon build up and more everywhere. 

Restaurant is open untill after 22h00.
Food was good, honest prices, large portion.

Hotel seems to be very big and empty.
