Awesome location, few minutes away from the famous sunlight rock in gulangyu, good base if you want to climb it early morning of evening time as there is half price admission during these hours :) Enjoy the nice balcony view of the rock as well as of the military building next to the hotel.. dont worry as the military building is not too noisy :p Also very close to the beach but it's not very clean so not suitable for swimming. No regrets spending one night in gulangyu in this 日光海岸别墅酒店, plenty of nice spots to explore on this island :)
