We were short on time in Xi'an so we wanted to stay close to the South Gate of the City Wall so that we would have easy access to the bike rentals. The Lemon Hotel is about a 10 minute walk to the South Gate so it worked well for us. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The halls smell vaguely like cigarette smoke so the no smoking policy isn't exactly followed, but that's true in several places we stayed in China. The breakfast is strictly Chinese and no Western food if that matters to you. Used the google translator to assure correct communication in check out. Wifi was free. We ate at the restaurant next door based on TripAdvisor reviews. Our guide from China Odyssey Tours helped us order before leaving us to cycle. We were glad we had his help. Spare ribs recommended but not the fish. We had a private dining room upstairs for our family of 5.
