Carriden Hotel Shenzhen

Check-in staff on duty at around 1 pm was efficient, attentive, and fast and correct. He answer all questions correctly and quickly. Good local knowledge. Full marks to this staff. We checked out at 5.30 am on 10 April 17. This staff was a bit of a dissappointment. I can excuse him only because of the early hour of our check-out. We wanted him to help in getting us a taxi to Futian Railway Station to take the fast train to Beijing. This involved change of Metro Station from Shenzhen North to Futian Metro Station. He was not very helpful telling us to walk to Shenzhen North Railway Station to catch the Metro which meant we need to walk for more than 15 minutes to the station in the darkness at dusk. Although we are not exactly decrepit, we are also not exactly young and vigorously travellers. This staff told us that even if he could book a taxi for us, the taxi may not turn up. We cannot verify this as we eventually walked to Shenzhen North railway station. Carriden can do a better job of staff training in customer service so the generally good service can be uniformly enjoyed by guests, whatever the hour.
