The room was very basic and little small. But was ok considering the location. The staff don’t speak English and no deposit was required unlike other hotels in china. If you walk along the river which is on back side of the hotel, cross the car parking and turn right to the hotel entrance. Location is good, 5min walk to metro station, seven eleven and super market. There was a Chinese backery near the metro which was always crowded and was good. Nanjing road, the bund, people’s Square all within walking distance of 20+min. The is a big shopping mall, joy mall, across the river. SHA airport was easily accessible via metro for 5rmb in less than 40min.
