26 reviewsI have been here two years in a row. The Hotel is in a good location and quite comfortable. The Chinese CCTV international (English), is programmed on the room TVs’ and is easy to find. The Staff speaks a limited amount of English, but I never had any problems. I also considered them as very helpful and certainly extremely courteous. Don't expect outright luxury, but for 15-20$ per night you will find everything you could ask for. The Qibao Ancient Town is within walking distance, certainly worth at least a one time visit. I used to go there every evening just to enjoy the fantastic snacks. A Station on Subway Line-9 is right next door, as well as bus stops for about 15 shanghai Bus routes. All in all I love Qibao, it’s a friendly buzzing suburb of a fantastic City. Just across from the hotel is a small park area that is worth a peek in the evenings. You can watch the kids skating or the elders dancing. China is a big happy family and as a foreigner you will simply become part of it in no time.
