Two night stay in an art deco suite (level 2), solo traveller. It's a charming hotel with warm "art deco" style characteristics, which I enjoyed very much. The location is great, within a short walk to restaurants and public transport in particular Hensghan Road metro station. I was pleasantly surprised with the size of the suite, it was more spacious than I had anticipated. I think the high ceilings contributed to the sense of space. I thought the room was tastefully decorated. I really liked the extra large bed, the mattress was firm but comfortable and so were the pillows. The breakfast is an a la carte menu, it was basic but included western and eastern options. Breakfast service was efficient and timely. My only improvement suggestion would be for the front desk employees to smile when greeting guests upon arrival. Perhaps it's not in the local culture, but a smile and a friendly welcome goes a long way. However, overall it was a unique and memorable experience, a very pleasant stay in a hotel that I think represents good value for money. I recommend this hotel to other solo travellers or couples that might be looking for a cosy boutique style place to stay in a great location. I hope to return again in future.
