JI Hotel Shanghai Jiangqiao Wanda Plaza

I spent a few nights at this hotel on a trip to shanghai to attend a friend's wedding. The check in was efficient and friendly with prompt service. The room was reasonable spacious with a double bed and a small table where you could sit and work if necessary. The bathroom had a walk-in shower and was well equipped, not very modern, but at the same time not awfully outdated either. It had all the necessary, hairdryer, soap and shampoo, toothpaste and toothbrush. The only negative, they definitely don't cater for English speaking visitors. It is a struggle to communicate. Breakfast was ample with more than enough to choose from including some cereal, yoghurts and fruit and all of the obvious cooked foods that chinese people eat for breakfast. For a mid-range hotel i thought it maintained very good service, the rooms were kept clean and the staff were friendly. Would stay there again if in the area and in need of a place to stay.
