This hotel is no longer the one in the pics. It is still a Hanting, and the prices shown are correct, but the property has been upgraded, and completely renovated. This is now a higher end of the Hanting chain. This means that the rooms are large, the lobby is nicer, and they have free laundry. Otherwise, its an upgrade of the basic Ikea aesthetic. The location is the same, meaning that it is convenient to the subway, but will have subway noise, especially at the lower levels. The subway station has some restaurants, but otherwise, it's quite quiet nearby. The breakfast is typical of the chain, possibly a bit nicer than other Hantings that I stay in. I am working in Shanghai, and live in this hotel for days or weeks at a time. It's an incredibly good deal for the quality of the rooms, the service, and the location--two stops away from Nanjing East Road.
