We came back to Shanghai from HuangShan for 2 nights before heading back to USA. This is a great location, in Zhongshan park location on line 2, but should use line 3-4 as a transfer for less walking get to / from hotel. The room is in clean/ airy with all the needed amenities for a short visit. WiFi in China almost non-existing, user need a verify local phone # in order to used WiFi, google is a no no. You can use other app but our hotel mechanic/ housekeeping guy gave us his modem to bypass this issue. ( used to foreigner phone issue). Although we have T-mobile, we have LTE here with our own phone service, but very slow/ iffy in some area. But much better then 3 years ago where nothing worked. ( an improvement is better the no improvement) wechat, whatapp, iMessage, works here. I can access my emails, Facebook(slow). The only little issue is bathroom is small, closet almost non-existing in our room. We have a 35 usd/ night for 2 with 1 free breakfast. ( use both 1st morning) But food are all over in this location. No issue there. Reception are nice, little English with my broken mandarin works just fine.
