126 reviewsMy husband and I stayed at Jinjiang Inn (Shanghai Luwan Liyuan) in the first week of March and believe it was a wonderful choice. The location is perfect, only a few minutes away from the metro station. There are many places around to buy things and to eat, such as 7 Eleven, KFC, Starbucks, chinese restaurants and fruit market. Regarding our room, it was big, comfortable and clean. The bed was a little bit hard, but we think it is usual in China. The breakfast was cheap (3 dollars) and very delicious, with many options to please both Chinese and foreign people, including fruits, noodles, soup, vegetables, among other items. At the reception, there was a guy who could speak English and helped us with the basic communication. After five days in Shanghai, we went to Beijing and were supposed to come back to stay one more night at a different hotel, but we were so happy with Jinjiang Inn that we did not want to take a chance. We canceled our reservation at the other hotel and booked one more night at Jinjiang Inn. If we go to Shanghai in the future, we will definitely stay there again and again.
