183 reviewsI found the Lee Gardens Hotel while seaching for a new place stay. my previous night's stay at another hotel was awful ( see my review). The room I chose was magnificent and very comfy for the price. Massive bed, very soft mattress and pillows, great running water with heat. Everything about the hotel was fantastic. They have a consiearge that will see that your luggage is secured if it needs to be stored and he/she has cards that you can give to the taxi driver to get to the main sites of the city and to return to the hotel. Another big bonus is that the building is mated to the Dong'an Metro Line 7 station exit 4. The only down side is that the station entrance is not disable friendly, only a flight of stairs for access to the lower level. This hotel was a little more than I wanted to budget for , but the services and opulance made up for it. It turned out to be a great base from which to explore Shanghai from.
