Shanghai Lailai Hotel

I stayed at this hotel for 10 days in early September 2016. The hotel is in a great location close to 2 Shopping Centres, one of which has a lot of designer stores and the other not so much but has a great supermarket for all your needs. There are bars, a KFC and a Burger King all outside the hotel and there is also a great bakery called Paris Baguette I think, that you can get to easily by going out of the back of the hotel (at the side of the lifts) The room was quite standard but more than adequate for my requirements, washing and sleeping. The bed was comfortable and the bed linen was clean plus the towels were of a decent quality. The maid cleaned everyday and was always smiling when we spoke to her. There were slippers and a dressing gown in the room and toiletries in the bathroom, all of which were unexpected but a very nice touch. The rooms have a kettle and tea/coffee making facilities plus a mini fridge so again, they were unexpected touches. If visiting this area, I would stay at this hotel again.
