Great for the money and when compared to other similarly priced options around. My favorite place to crash for cheap in Shanghai is called the Genting Star, but they were fully booked up and a little out of the way for this trip. I had been burned recently by some really bad places so I decided to try this place for 350 rmb (about 51 USD). From the outside the place looks like a mess but that is only the entrance to the elevator. You go to the 3rd floor and check in was very good and easy. The carpets in the hall were terrible so I was worried but when I got to my room it was very nice and clean and was great for the money. I was exhausted so I went to sleep and actually slept very sound. The pillows and bed were good and the neighborhood was quiet. Would stay again.
