Hongcheng Yuehai Hotel - Qingdao

The best place to stay if in Jiaonan for business. The only other good hotel is De-Tai which is very localized and then there is Four points by Sheraton which is due to open by end of October, 2012. A very nice 4 star hotel - English name (Guangdong Hotel) as it belongs to the same group. Good rooms with individual PC, internet connection, all amenities, bath tub, etc. Staff at reception speaks good english. The restaurant is one big plus point which serves very good buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner. So if you have language problems while ordering food, this is an ideal joint. The food is not bad although the menu rarely changes. There is no pool yet or any shopping inside - however, being a very new hotel, everything about it is quite new and nice. A travel section is available in the hotel for all ticketing requirements. The Hotel is in Jiaonan, about 1.5 hours from Qingdao airport and is next to HongCheng plaza. The Qingdao district center is about 30 minutes drive where you can find everything you need. Having stayed here a few times now overall for Jiaonan city I would rate it as one of the best places to stay.
