We have found this hotel on Internet, but we've not booked online. The room was clean and nice. The service helpful even if only 2 people really speak english. The breakfast is good and the restaurant (lunch and dinner) quite good. The reception actually is a sort of bar/club and it's lovely spending time in the evening. Even if the most of the hotel guests are Chinese families on holiday, the bar is frequented by international people. The drinks could be improved, but hey! you're in Qingdao not in NYC, therefore we can say they are good. During our stay, there was a fantastic Jazz/R&B band (Ptah Brown and John Cole + a chinese saxophonist). The general manager - called AJ - is very helpful and nice. The hotel is close the bus stop and in front of the Beach n° 1. Internet is free in the reception. The hotel offers a bike-rental service but it's expensive (120 RMB all day). BEST: the people WORST: Internet/Bike rental
