Royal Garden

I and my friend booked this hotel from Hongkong and at the Hongkong booking counter they gave us one Identity number which we should have to show to the Manager at the Hotel. However, our flight delayed by about 30 minutes and the flight landed at the Airport late. Upon reaching the airport there wasn't any cab but finally we got one private car whose driver offered us to take to the Hotel. The Hotel name in Chinese is different and we could not find the hotel with that name anywhere there and even the driver did not understand english well so we ended up trying to find the hotel as he kept telling us the amount of fare was increasing. At last I could open my email and got the hotel number and called the manager to help us to locate. Finally it was located and to our astonishment, the hotel was about few meters infact walkable distance for the air port. We ended up paying 700 RMB for the car anyway. The hotel was neat and clean but as may be always it was always crowded in the lobby. Rooms are good and the breakfast was included. The best thing was the manager who could understand and speak english which helped us to continued stay in the same hotel. If you are ever going to China, you need to know both English name and Chinese name of the hotel you booked and make sure you get the proper address with Phone numbers. Over all we enjoyed in the hotel though it was difficult for us to communicate with staff members, the surrounding was good and is very near to the road where you can easily get bus service if you know bit of chinese to communicate with.
