27 reviewsWe came in on a late high speed train (10pm ish) to the new train station. This station is quite small and lots of drivers waiting to take you to your destination. It is a ways out of town. When we made the reservation at this hotel I notice that the hotel requested to call them before you arrive so they know when to expect you. Well I had no good way of contacting the hotel as I had data / email and there was no social media info to contact them via. As i found out later... the hotel can make arrangements to pick you up at the train station at a discount price. Well I had no good way to contact the hotel so we took a taxi. Once at the hotel, I introduced June the owner to Whatsapp. If you have internet access in China and you use Whatsapp you can now contact June (who speaks english) 1. Whatsapp # see photo of business card. The number is written in pen next to June 2. Email address - see business card I added to the photos (tripadvisor blocks reviews if this information is added) June will also make arrangements to take you to the train station. (I would not walk as it is not that close) My regular review; - AC / Heat - Did not use I so I don't know - Wifi was strong and speed was good - Hot water in the shower - soso - T-Mobile service - only E data and voice service - Plenty of Power plugs to charge phones - Towels were soft and in good condition - Sheets were clean - Bed was comfortable (thin mattress on a brick mantel) Really cool - Room decor appropriate for hotel - Room was clean and cleaned every day - Parking - None as no cars are allowed in the city - Breakfast - None for Free but you can order some - Pool - None - Noise - quiet - had no complaints - The food in the restaurant was great. In fact we kept coming back. - June speaks english. What a plus :-) A little extra Massage place next door was great and very reasonable. No need to stay more than one or two days in this town as you can see almost everything in one day. Some general advice for China travelers. Rent a hot spot at the airport. You will have high speed internet on all your devices and no messing around with SIM cards that may not work in every city if you are not careful (just saying from my personal experience) I would definitely stay here again.
