8 reviewsNot many international chain hotel in this city. Our coworker picked this Holiday Inn & Suites Hulunbuir. It turn out to be a very nice short stay. I was there for two nights for a conference in a near by hotel. The hotel is somewhat local feels but definitely no faults. Check in is fast and room is well prepared. I got upgraded to a suite due to my status in IHG. The room come with separated living room and bed room with full bath and a guest toilet. Somehow the Aircon vent is only in the living room area. When I told the front desk, they are kind enough to loan me a fan to increase the air circulation and both area are cool down rapidly. The breakfast served rather local food and limited western food but I have no complain. It is more like a family dining room. This city people are with very warm touches and it is a surprise to me. Hotel is right across the beautiful train station. Since it is entering the summer with long day light period. I keep walking down to see the train station at different time. What a scenic view! My taxi driver told me not to worry about the safety, although it is next to the train station but never feel any mess like other cities in China.
