Gateway Hotel

Our repeated stays at the Gateway Hotel are a direct testament to the incredible team on the continental club floor, which is so clearly led by a wonderful manager, Viann. Her leadership sets the tone for the entire experience. We've seen her a few times laughing and lunching with her staff, and it’s evident she has fostered a truly united and happy team. This positive and professional energy is then passed on to every guest. The personal, anticipatory service we received was the best we've ever experienced on any club floor. A perfect example of this is Hei in the breakfast lounge. He was remarkably observant, quietly anticipating our needs by refilling tea and clearing plates almost before we realized we were done. One morning, my husband mentioned he wanted bananas, and Hei made sure they were waiting for him on our table every single day thereafter. It was this level of attentive, professional service that made us feel incredibly well-cared for. Furthermore, Andrea and Amber were absolute stars, always greeting us with the sweetest smiles. Whenever we had questions about transportation or local directions, they would immediately do the research and never failed to provide us with a quick and accurate answer. While we've stayed in other hotels' club lounges, the service here is in a league of its own. It feels personal, it feels genuine, and it feels like home. We will undoubtedly be back.
