Harbour Grand Kowloon

We have been to Hong kong many times and this the best hotel we have stayed at. The location is perfect with a promenard to walk a longand sit at any time of the day,especially lovely in the evening. The transport is all within a few minutes walk,Ferries to Central and Hung Hong, Buses and a Metro to everywhere . The enntrance stairway is impressive and grand. If you arrived in the afternoon the check in could be long but we were in a executive room and so could check in on the 19th floor.It was however chinese holidays so the hotel was busy at times. Our room overlooked the harbour and had great view over the sea and was interesting to look at all the boats which passed. We had breakfast downstairs as we like fried eggs done at our request.The choice of everything was overwheming and was constantly being refilled.It could be busy at times but as i said it was chinese holiday time. Later it was easy to get seats. The tea was especially good and always very hot. The executive lounge was small and its a pity there were no good views, quite basic to some lounges.It certainly made up with the friendly staff all who were so helpful even with a limited english language.Ringo always made us laugh. The wine was plentiful as was all the drinks, tea and coffee on tap.The afternnon tea always had fresh sandwiches and 3 hot dishes and the evening buffet a little repetitive on the cooked meats but they were always topped up. The hot food was always hot and different each night.There was plenty for us as sometimes we went out to the islands for a fish lunch. The rooftop pool overlooked the sea and was a beautiful setting. There needed to be some shade but it could get windy up there so you see why there were no umbrellas.There were two lots of stairs to get to it so it couldbe a problem for some people. It is certainly a hotel we would return to. Thank everyone for making our stay so special.
